Just a bunch of old crap
I love the BK9. I just wish it had a better sheath like the BK2 or I'd already own one.

The micarta scales are great. I took a fine grit sandpaper to clean up all the burrs along the cut edges and it smooths out really nice. Rinse it, then dry it. Next, get a medium wood stain and dip some paper towel into it and rub it on the scales (while off the knife). The longer you let it soak in, the darker the scales get. I let my stain sit on the scales for about 20 seconds, then I ran them under the tap to rinse them, then let them dry so you can see their true new color. If they're too light, do it again until you achieve the darkness you want. They will always dry lighter than they look when wet.

Here's how mine came out with 2 rubbings of medium oak wood stain, 20 second soak per rubbing:

The wood grain look really comes out. Pre-sanding them really helped clean up the edges so you can't hardly tell that they're micarta. Excellent grip when the handle is wet, and the stain doesn't rub off.

I also love to carry this thing scout style, hence the tek-lok mounted how it is. Even clipped on the front of my belt, I can comfortably sit down with it on. It also clips to my pack shoulder strap hanging handle-down with this orientation of the tek-lok.

Sorry, I don't deal with those that reside in California. My offer is good for Americans only. :p

Everybody raves about them. I've never seen one in person but damn, the photos of the scroll work are amazing! I'm not crazy about the plain nature of some but what I wouldn't give to have one of those like "Inside Time" inscribed on the 21 knives. Beautiful.
