That's what the passenger airbag off switch is for. i Fail to see how it's any less safe than being in the back seat, unless you have them in the middle and not on one of the sides.

That's really the only reason it wouldn't be safe to out a car seat in the front seat. You can't legally do it unless you can disable the airbag, which all reg-cab and trucks with jump seats in the back have.

I don't think any 4 door vehicles have it.

Yup. If I get a fiat, I'll have to do a reverse chop top.

The Recaro seat is just massive! It fits well in the Ford but my wife hates it for her car. The only thing I don't like about the Recaro seat is I can't get Joseph out of the seat without waking him up. The sides are too tall so I can't lift him out.
I believe any vehicle with an actual rear seat that can support a child seat doesn't have it. My double cab and my new truck don't have them but my old Ranger extended cab did because it had the same jump seats as the Taco.
You don't have a place on your dash to put your key in and shut off the passenger air bag?

It fits in the back but the passenger seat is pushed forward all the way. So if all 3 of us are going somewhere we take the old ladies car.

No, see, I mean fun for us. Monica was fun for Bill (briefly), and a huge annoyance for everybody for months.

The only positive thing to come out of that waste of time was John Goodman as Linda Tripp.

Are you kidding me? The headlines were the best they've been in ages! That was pure entertainment for the whole US for a long time as well as the source of many an office joke and TV parody.

The recaro is huge. Only thing I don't like about it is it's not detachable from the base. I find it much easier to adjust though.

That's weird with a reg cab not having the airbag switch on the dash

The recaro is massive, it is almost as big as the corbeaus I have for the trail rig.

No sir. I believe the weight switch replaced that method in general, as my Chevy truck had the switch too.

Too many electric do dads in the new vehicles. Don't get me wrong, I love our 5th gen t4r , but I dread the day something breaks on it. Shit, you have to remove a whole bunch of panels and skid plates just to change the oil on it.

My truck may not be pretty, or ride great, or have any power. But if something does break I'm confident I can figure the problem out and fix it.
