I don't get all the Spurrier hate. Yeah, the guy is a little goofy. He brought the program back to relevance. 3 straight 11 win seasons. He has one bad season and everyone is up in arms. Let's be honest, SC was way overrated coming in to the season. That's not just hindsight talking either. You've gotta look at the players they lost. Seems like you'd show a little more support to a coach that has never had a losing season with them.

Pretty sure he's saying that he expects spurrier to retire after next year.

I agree.....they lost some superstars last year. And there are no superstars coming in. Next season will be another 5 to 6 win season (at best). He'll leave on his own.....I'm calling it now.

And a lot of people don't particularly like Saban or Petrino either because of those reasons.

Pretty sure Meyer is the only one who used an illness to leave coaching, then he's magically fine and off to coach again. Seems questionable at best.

And I'm just tired of people who say they aren't OSU fans gagging on Meyer's dick. Cardale Jones was the 2nd string QB. He got 2nd string reps all season long which is a HUGE difference than 3rd string which just runs the scout team. So 2nd string QB. And they play in the weak ass Big 10. OSU is probably a 3 loss team in the SEC regardless of the QB.

who are the people doing the gagging? Jones was third on the depth chart no matter how you try to dice it.

Urban Meyer has played Alabama in big games before, and Meyer has beaten Alabama in a big game before. That, of course, was the 2008 SEC Championship, which saw the Florida Gators beat Alabama 31-20.
The quarterback for Florida that day was Tim Tebow, and Tebow and the Gators would go on to win a national championship. So it would only make sense that Meyer would have Tebow speak to his current Ohio State team as they prepare to play Alabama in the Sugar Bowl for a potential championship berth.
