Yeah that sounds like a lot haha. I'm thinking of regear to 4.88 and 35's when ready for new tires, then pray nothing serious breaks until I can get LT on the truck. My wife was *not* happy when I brought up the cost of sas, so pretty much settled i'll go LT :) be a nice graduation gift muah!

Hope to see frank in person some day - one of the many rigs on here I checked out before even buying a taco. Maybe rock therapy? Wife let me pick the vacation for next year :spy:

    In time..

I'd highly recommend 5.29s if you are dead set on 35s. Especially with the auto tranny. 4.88s with the auto and 33s is perfect. I have driven a rig with that setup. Drives almost just like stock with a bit more torque. 5.29s would be the way to go with 35s and the auto for sure.

Yea man! Maybe..I am not sure. It is always at an inconviant time for me because I'm broke as hell by then. I don't make any money really while in school with cost of living. My dad really wants to go though..but I don't think I could afford the 700+ in gas for it in May. Least it is too early to tell.

I need to go back though. Many people I want to see again and plenty of new people to put faces with.

Someday! I Always like meeting people and wheeling with them.

Damn.. Good point. I have time to think about it, but initially I figured I could stagger the upgrades by doing gears first, then popping on the 35's. Easier on the wallet :) still trying to figure out how to justify this as a joint expense... Hmmm

Well I have a buddy on 5.29s in a double cab on 285s..haven't driven it but he doesn't mind it.

    I am VERY glad I didn't settle with 4.88s. And I'm a manual.

Anywho, as long as you stay with a 2" over LT that is NOT ALL POO you will be good. Mark's truck did great on the LT and I am willing to bet 3 pennies that he'd still have LT if it were not for the improper geometry on the All POO kit causing axle shafts to break.

'Twas not my idea..but i was the lil birdie that twittered into the boss's ear to add it..

Mine is a full 3.5" kit. No 2" kits for 1st gens. And I am very confident that it's one of the hands down best kits you can get for our trucks. So I think I'll be good.

    Time will tell!

Tomorrow! I get back to powell at 1

Have you looked into any steering pump upgrades? I'm going to have to replace mine very soon and would like to upgrade while I'm at it.
