Someone stole my Best top last night. They took it while my truck was parked in my carport. Lock yours if you have one.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Bastards, Man. Maybe other bestop owners can find a hidden location to write the truck vin on so the top can be identified in the future.

    Sorry to hear OP.

if the tailgate is locked, the cover release is not accessible.

Looks like insurance is going to cover it. I have a pop and lock. Didn't stop them. The cop I spoke to said I was lucky that they left my catalytic converter alone. Apparently there has been a rash of stolen converters in Laguna. As for now I am going to get a video surveillance set up. Any advice on video?

I just checked the Best Top website. Looks like several types. I meant the EZ Fold Tonaeu Cover.... Similar to my Extang Solid Trifold.

    Dropcams seem intriguing. :notsure:

Not sure how much it'll help though, it just records it happening. Chances of LEO spending time matching faces over a $500 top probably isn't too high.
