Your pics of your pit bulls with the question asked what bloodlines are they is fascinating. I didn't know that was how you identified them. But then again I didn't know such a thing as a blue pit bull existed either until about 6 weeks ago then I saw one at Pet Smart and was awe struck at its beauty. It's such a shame everyone dumps on them and not the owners who raise ill mannered pit's....

 

There is a ton of info to learn on so called pit bulls. Only the American Pit Bull Terrier should be reffered to a pit bull. But there a tons of breeds that the media calls pit bulls. As for Bloodlines that just tells those in the know where your dogs come from, not geologically but your dogs lineage. Kind of like a humans last name. We're all people but you can trace our lineage back same as a dogs bloodline. The blue color is relativly new and sometimes a hassel as they are considered to many a fault, blue is actually a lack of black pigment. Not that they aren't beautful dogs but you won't see many of them back it the 80's. They used to breed them to better the breed, not for looks.

I wish I knew the bloodline of my male "pit". He is a rescue and we know very little of his backround. He is one fantastic pet though, I am very spoiled by him.

 

Abby the first day I got her(she was 6 weeks old):

and the other lab... brownie. i dont have any pics of him on here, just this one, and as many as i have of abby you wouldn't be able to tell but.. brownie is my favorite. He is the pup of my first dog, maggie.(she was poisoned by my cock sucking neighbor about 4 months ago, i haven't got him back yet... if any of you have any ideas, PLEASE let me know)he is destructive just like his mother was, but i'll love him til the day he dies, no matter how much shit he tears up.



he tore up the door facing and i painted it hoping my parents wouldn't notice it... i couldn't keep him out of the paint, every single time i painted it, he would get back into it.. this happened 3 times, i finally tied him up and waited for the paint to dry.

i love my dogs if you can't tell.

Hi Abby-Brownie...I saw your pics and got to wondering if we shouldn't start a collection to buy you (Abby) a new bed. The one your in with your human friend looks alittle small. I know with hard times here you might need a little extra help getting the sleeping accomodations you so deserve...(LMA0)---Abby you need to find Tank in a couple of months and play with him. He'll be alot of fun and can take alot of the energy out of you.

Brownie- Dad has to spend a lot more time with you (probably can't)if he hopes to correct your behaviour. Meanwhile only constant correction and treats will change things for you. Love him Dad, he's all you got from his family. As for the neighbor be kind and try to understand his side of the coin. What they did was wrong but two wrong's don't make a right. Who was it that wrote a book "It takes a Village to Raise a Child!" This is ever so true especially with our kids with four legs.

 

Good looking APBTs. Gotta love the true APBT. We have way too many bullies/bandogs here in California. They're great dogs, but just not APBT which most people think they are.

Tank is not "fat!" He's just full figured right now...... Oh my does he know how much lovin his mama has n store for him? Don't forget when u get him home....and he's growing up and running around the house.....Ur still smarter than the dog!

 

Haha..the vet said he was fat, but healthy . He will be loved very much by his new human parents and brother dog Chubby. He will be able to visit his dog parents often too!
Yup, I'm reading up on all the puppy info I can. He will be in training from day 1. I think the harder part is 'training' my bf to follow along with the training.
