    To some people :p

I look forward to going to work. My work doesn't even feel like work really. There'll be days when I'm like "damn, I wish I could stay home and play with my nephew all day" or something, but for the most part, I go crazy on my days off just because there's nothing to do at home and I constantly think about thinks at work

    Why?

We've gone over this before. What I have learned in the short time I've worked at my job is FAR MORE valuable then everything I learned past reading and writing. Why would I pay for someone to tell me about running a business when I can have hands on training and help run a business?

The knee issue i have all but grown out of, i still can't kneel directly on hard surfaces though.

The back, i threw it out trying to be cool and lift 300lbs of ATV in one jerking motion at the age of 12 or so, back has never been the same....i have to stretch it out on a back stretcher every once in a while because the day to day compression gets it so damn tight.

I sell expensive equipment to other businesses, it's fine. It isn't the highest profit side of my business and it involves the most work, but such is the cost of business. I get more satisfaction out of repairing broken equipment than any other aspect of the job.

I don't need a piece of paper hanging on the wall to tell me I'm smart. All that piece of paper means, is that I bullshitted my way through a class and got a good enough score to tell me I can do something.

What a lot of people don't understand, is when you're starting your own company, you don't need to tell someone you have a degree in this or a degree in that because there's no one to tell. You are it, you're the boss. I'd MUCH rather go to work and learn how to deal with people and learn numbers then sit in a classroom.

I would work for $5/hr if it meant I was more happy then making $15/hr at another job. But that's just me :p

I was in my early/mid 20s before I could kneel on hard surfaces, and still now if my scar tissue bump (I assume you know exactly what I'm talking about) is directly the point of primary contact on a hard surface then it's really painful when I stand up.

Just glad the days are gone where the smallest impact to the knee would leave me unable to walk for 5 minutes. OSD is shitty. Hope my kids don't have my growth pattern, my fiance is normal size.

Just think how much faster your business can build if you already have the knowledge because you went to school for it WHILE WORKING IN THE FIELD, and you have a leg up on it all...you don't have to blunder through and not make any profit the first few years.

I only want to help you. Stop fighting me.

The bigger point of college is that it teaches you HOW to learn. I didn't want to go to college, went briefly and stopped. My fiance wants to go to grad school, but eh.

I think it's a huge investment with very little tangible return. If you're going to be successful in life, you don't need a degree. Degrees are helpful for the majority of people who'll be neither successful or unsuccessful, but that group is so immensely huge that most of them will be on an even playing field to begin with, then it comes back to luck of the draw.

Why you wanna know creeper? About 25 minutes away from Greensboro NC, I hate when people ask this question. Its so hard to tell people where I live because my postal address says one thing, yet my location is much closer to another place.

Eh, college is cool, but im also in the camp of its not the end of the earth. im looking at a Commercial Diving tech school for my post - high school stuff. I love the field, and would die a horrible death in college seeing as im basically a hermit crab in terms of social skills
