I hope your computer burns if you photoshopped that. The Tacoma isn't a ridgeline/Colorado pussy truck.

What makes the Colorado a pussy truck compared to the Tacoma?

I just don't like how fat the body is on it. Looks like a soccer mom crossover.

Aluminum front differential, the fact they are trying to target cuv drivers.

Where did you see that they were trying to target CUV drivers? Or is that just your opinion?

Its been said in a bunch of the gm press releases and reviews of the truck.

Ok, and just because they aren't targeting that doesn't mean they are pussy trucks. Maybe they are trying to change people.

I am not trying to start an argument or anything, especially being that my next vehicle will probably be the new Tacoma, but so many people on this forum are so biased towards the Tacoma and I am trying to see why.

My personal experience. During 2002 I got a real job and bought a 2001 Camaro SS. My originally daily car was a 1989 Toyota Camry that had about 175,000 miles. Overall, the Camaro was a fun car. However, the Camry doors, windows, etc felt much better in quality in sealing, firmness, durable.

    I said once on LS1tech.com, I’d rather have a 100,000 mile Toyota then a 0 mile Chevrolet.

I couldn't agree anymore with you here. I had a 2006 mustang brand new drove off the lot with 7 miles, didn't have any major trouble but did feel cheap. I just traded it in for a 2012 camry SE with 35k miles and that thing feels like luxury compared to the stang. 4 cylinder isn't as fun as the mustang but I took her old 96 camry (185k miles) and she took the new one (my choice because we are newly weds... enough said). Camry at 185k runs better than the mustang that had 90k when I traded it in earlier this year.

But with all that said and kissing toyotas ass, I still don't understand what about the Chevy truck makes it a "pussy" truck compared to the Tacoma. I am new to the truck market and plan on towing a boat and jet skis in a few years, and plan on taking mountain bikes around now. Both trucks are more than capable of doing all of these activities so I am still not understanding why the Colorado is a lesser truck.

The leaked photo is only one half of the front. This pic has definitely been mirrored to try to give an impression of what the whole front looks like. Unfortunately the pic was taken at an angle and not straight on so a correct interpretation with the mirrored image is skewed.

I only meant in reference just to the one comment. “Why were biased towards Tacomas”, and YES I’m biased due to my past experiences.

I've seen a lot of manufacturer's do that. My only explanation is the low beam cut off is pretty well set with the projector. Having the high beam in the same lens would require some sort of moving lens or something of the like. Just speculating.

No I get that everyone is going to be biased here, I am trying to figure out everyone's experiences as to WHY they are biased towards Tacoma's. I am not an idiot, I just play one on TV.

You mean the same Tacoma with an actual real life payload of about 400lbs tops?

Yeah. I retrofitted mine reflectors and it has a mechanical gate that comes down. It is more prone to failure down the road so not having that is a plus I guess.

    PS. Go Pack!
