It's easy to find 22LR if you know where to look. There's a few websites that make it easy for you. Or, if you're one of the smart people, you have an old lever action rifle that takes 22 short, 22 long, and 22LR.

If you're one of the smart people you've got stacks of 22LR from when it was cheap and there were no lines to buy it. ;)

Issues were largely operator error (forcing the slide during a malfunction & cracking the frame was most common) but were addressed. They kick like a mule though so they're not for those who are sensitive to recoil. It's not a treat to shoot.

I have a 590a1 Blackwater with ghost ring sights and the front dovetail sight vibrated off :|

Is there a decent .340 width high visibility front sight out there? A short one? Like .250 or .300ish height anyone know of? Midway usa has some but pretty sure they don't ship to canada.

Sick of trying to decide which AR pistol buffer I like best so I'm sending off another AR lower to be engraved for SBR purposes, and I'll send my 870 out at the same time. I hear lead times are way down for NFA approvals.

Try http://www.brownells.com. I'm pretty sure they will have what you're looking for and they ship all over the world.

Lead times on form 1's seem to be around 8-10 weeks....might have gone down even more though. just know in late June/early July when i did my dads form 1 he got it back like first week of September. Mind you those were paper form 1's

As for my form 1.....grr. I put AR15 for model and apparently its actually "RM15" so my form 1 went into problem status. Of course they dont bother telling you or anything. Supposedly mailed out a letter on 12/10 (mind you i sent it in at the same time as my dads). Was able to talk to the ATF lady who was helpful and emailed her a pic so she oculd fix it but they still have to have the original form 1 back which they mailed to me (and i still havent received)

Doesnt help im out of state so dont have access to things like my mail lol (parents get it for me). Least the whole ordeal with my form 1 i have been in CA so it doesnt matter...and im here another 4 months so by then hopefully ill have it!

8-10 weeks sounds amazing. My suppressor was in process for over a year and a half. My first SBR form 1 in '09 was 90 days door to door.

yeah i cant remember exact dates to be honest. I know we waited a week after the WA law went into effect (June 6th?) and he had it late august or first week in Sept.

And i know about the suppressors...first took 6 months. Second took 10 months. Third took a 15 months. Fourth luckily took 10 months.

Lucky for me i usually order them from my dealer when i go on long work trips so they are there pretty much right when i get home :)

this one is a bit odd as it has the engraving on the action and i believe someone replaced the butt stock w/ a carved one or carved the stock one and didnt match the original color.
