That will happen soon enough, one thing at a time.

Yes it's needed, no I don't have one. Still need to figure out a good home for the plate.

Your racks really add to the look as well. Need to find some daylight and take a few pictures.

Looks amazing... i do say that you need to stick some more boxes under the bed though, maybe something like this:[IMG]

I once got pulled over near Rockwall, Texas, on I-30, in the notorious speed trap zone, doing 10 miles BELOW the speed limit...for a burned out license plate light, and Ohio plates. However, I was in my beat to sh*t 94 five lug, single cab toy pickup, value depending on gas in the tank, but with a brand new 15K BMW R1150R Rockster in the back.

Real nice job on the bed, it looks REAL handy. Now, what is the bottle of CO2 for? It looks like beverage/welding tank. I use on of these on my Hobart Handler 140 GMAW, better know as MIG, rig.

Maybe not boxes, but something to utilize the space. I'll see what I need as I go.

Thanks Howard. The co2 is for airing up tires and running an impact gun.

I'm out running errands this morning. Figured another pic wouldn't hurt. Need to find a nicer backdrop though.

That is sweet! a little more lift in the front and the gap in the back wont matter...especially if you go with shock hoops and longer shocks in the back

The diode trick will prevent te signal light from spreading to the brake light circuit it will also make the brake lights override the signal light circuit. Not always desirable.

You will need to use a trailer 4 light to 2 light adapter for correct signal/brake circuit operation plus a set of resistors to keep the flasher from mistakenly detecting a burnt bulb.

    BTW, Looks awesome!!!

I've seen the M416 bed grafted onto a taco, it's a pretty sweet look. I did think about going that route.

When I load down the bed the truck will sit level. As it is I'm debating taking a little more preload out of the front.

Skeptical huh? Glad you like it.

That's the plan, just have to take the handles off and drill two new holes in the plate.

The current plan is to put a diode on both the brake signal wire and the turn signal wire before I merge them into the single line feeding the tail light. We'll see if that works. If not I'll look into the adapter you mentioned. Do you have a link to said product?

    Thanks

They're going to rub until I get my new wheels in January. Then I'll be cutting the fenders, but won't have to worry about the tires touching the frame.

Ok, I added the diodes. I now have turn signals, but no signals during braking.

Styk was on the money about the adapter being needed. I'll have to find one and order it. It'll have to be sent to arkansas though as I'm leaving tomorrow and this is good enough for now.
