60+ year old thread.

Morning all!

We put down 1400 square feet of tile. The labor cost was 5K. I watched and thought, "I can do better than that." So since this was a remodel, and it had to be done in sections, when the first section was done I took over. It is really simple. If you take your time you can do better than someone hurrying to get done for the day. You can either buy or rent a tile saw.

There are about half a dozen tiles I will have to replace. They are not in the sections I did.

For that matter, placing cabinets is pretty easy too. You can probably save half of your remodel costs by doing things yourself.

 

evening all:
Something not good going on, on a back road right over from my house.
Couple young guys came into the gas station and said there was a bad accident on there that involved people they knew, and that one person was trapped in the one car and was burned alive and could be heard screaming. NOT GOOD!
I could see all the lights over there as I came home, but best to stay away and read about it in the paper, or hear it on the news.

The wife is well on the way to finishing up the Christmas cookies. I'm going to do the pizzelles this afternoon.

That looked like a really bad accident. One of the cars had to be flying down the road. for all involved.
