2013 tx edition dcsb...problem is when it rains water pours in on the passenger side floorboard. All of the drains are working and not clogged, so im wondering if it could possibly be the door weatherstrip. Its not coming thru the air inlet under the cowl. I pulled the weatherstrip and theres water between it and the dash and if i reach up under the dash i can feel the foam on the back of the ac vent is wet...any suggestions?? Fender was off last week to make sure it was sealed as well

First, if this is still under warranty - you know the drill - get them to fix it.

Otherwise, Can you pull off the trim for the right end of the windshield on the inside. I had a vehicle that has a bad seam up at the rook that was leaking down the post /pillar to the floor. I guess I'm saying that I'd want to find the source to be sure it's fixed for good (log term rot issues) and not just smear some sealant at various locations ....

Yea its still under warranty, just was wonderin what it could be from. Ill see if i can pull the trim and poke around. Its just wet right there where the top of the dash meets the weatherstrip. Seems like its comin in there somehow anyway. The outside of the kickpanel is wet as well as under the door sill plastic and the carpet. If i look/feel up closer to the windshield area its dry, but behind this area of the dash is where i feel water

Hmm, maybe the windshield seal. The headliner has water on it as well

on my old s10 there is a welding seam there. Apparently the weld was not suppose to completely weld the pillar to the roof (watertight) and a sealant was used. The sealant was missing and the water came down the drip edge gasket form the top of the door/weld seam and dripped down the gasket to the floor.

Good Catch - This is one of those issues that if you find it quick - it's an easy fix - if you don't it's a later found rusty mess.

Yea just had my neighbor flood the windshield with a hose. It pours in from the top corner and runs down the pillar trim to the floor. Within a second it started. Ida never known if for not taking that trim piece out. Thx for the tip!!

By chance does it smell like a little like cat urine?

I found a puddle of water on the passenger side weathertech one morning and didn't realize it also got on the carpet two weeks later my truck smells like cat urine.

Not sure why you're not letting the dealer fix and replace carpet

have you checked your a/c drain tube?...make sure its not clogged? i would start there first.

wont fix your smell but may be the cause of the leak.

On the door seal - not the frame of the vehicle.
