So far this week Bryan/College Station has gotten about 1-1/2" of rain. As long as we don't get too much more we should be OK. (I hope)

Does anyone know if BVORR has any electric hook-ups for my pop-up camper? I didn't see anything about it on the web site.

I wish that I still had a tent or I wouldn't bring my camper either. I don't really need an elec. hook-up, I would be nice tho. I think it will be cool enough at night to where I won't need the ac anyways & I have a couple of battery powered lights to get me by. I was just thinking that it would be nice to be able to plug in a stereo ect. One good thing about bringing the camper is if it is wet, it will be nice to be off the ground a little.

 

Well crap. I have a seriously problem. My tent (that ordered last week) didn't ship out until today. It is expected to be here on the 28th (Monday). To add salt to the wound, my new air filter won't be in until Tuesday, and my LEDs aren't going to be in until Monday.

I wish there was a place here in San Antonio that i could have bought all of this stuff.

 

Yeah, Academy sucks
Bass Pro is expensive
and they just closed Sportsman's Warehouse

 

It's a good thing to have around in case of doomsday.

 

*Academy has low end stuff (If I am going to shell out money, the shit better last).
*Bass Pro is expensive, but I just love walking around that place.
*Sportsman's Warehouse was right next to my office, and I didn't know it was there until they started to go under.

I would go to Bass Pro and pick up another tent (for $75 MORE than I got it online), but all of my money is tied up in the stuff that is enroute to me now.

I would, but I have zero funds to do that. I was scraping by as it was just to pay for the fuel for this trip. Divorces are expensive.

I had drank my friends under the table, and I tried crashing on his couch after they all passed out. I couldn't get pass out to save my life. So, I went out to the truck and laid in the back. 5 minutes later I went back inside and ended up passing out on the floor.

Yeah. It is quickly proving to be worth the time, effort, and funds. Thankfully, we are on really good terms. So much so, that she wants to come to this meet. She is cool and all, but I don't think I would go that far.

 

I assume that you have some kind of good reason that you can't make it?

I appreciate the offer, but I hate borrowing stuff from people. I have a tendency to damage things (especially when I drink). I do everything I can to not borrow from people, and I hate asking for hand-outs.
