Right and Thanks. I have decided not to run stock shackles and am having some fabbed, so I think I have some math to do. I am already 1 inch higher in the rear(unless the 10 pack decides to settle:)) and do have a bit of front end adjust but, do not want to max it and am at a good ride setting on the front.

    Do eet :).

Thanks and your truck looks great.

I'm still deciding between the ATO and SOS's. It basically comes down to price between the two since the latter is $30 less..

I actually got 2 PMs based on saying that I sent a PM.

Just so it's out in the open my opinion is that the ATO is superior to the SOS version. My reasons can be sent via PM but for anyone trying to decide the $30 bucks is worth every penny.

Not sure how I missed this. Thank you for the response. I was going to go into the ATO's on my initial reply to Taco but, decided I better read up more on them before I did. They are the ones that I will be installing in the best interest of my rear springs and angle.

Funniest thing ever on the ATO site....
"Like the shocks brake lines are not limit straps."

yet unfortunate it has to be mentioned.

How do you know what the "shackle angle" is supposed to be. And they are adjustable. You have 3 options as far as from mounting positions and then three options for shackle positioning. I have the dakars with the extra leaf (D29xl) with the ATO flip kit mounted center hole on the frame and center hole on the shackle. Shackles are just the stock ones. The rack weights in a little over 100lb an the bumper is prob another 200lbs with the swing out and the spare tire. How do you know what the angle is supposed to be or if i have it set correctly?

That's a good question. The trick here is that there is no "perfect" shackle angle although a 45* angle is widely regarded as a good angle due to the fact that you get good droop and can compress without the shackle hitting the frame.

I have always gone with 45* being my target.

Finally got a good chance to get her really flexd. Found out I need to do something different with the bumpstops since I am drooping so much. I have a ton of deflection in the compressed side which is causing the shock to bottom out. Sucks. I think a set of timbrens is in my very near future.

Great shot taken today at a local Cars and Coffee meet. They weren't expecting 10 heavily moded Tacos to show up and class the place up.

Timbrens ordered. Should be here by the end of the year. Couldn't justify the extra 60 bucks for the Allpro mounts so I will just weld the regular setup to this extra set of flip plates I have sitting in the garage. Should work out just nicely.

Also Timbren offers a 1" spacer...I'm going to see how these do at compression and then order if needed.

That's a serious chunk of change for some bumpstops.

Length sadly enough. The superbumps are nice and I have seen both but to keep me out of negative arch and keep the shocks from bottoming out I went with the timbrens.

I would have much preferred the price of the superbumps. I am planning to order a set of their fronts soon.
