Custom fab stuff can turn out just as good if you take your time and do it right.

SingleCabGuy or now weldertaco has one he made. Kinds like that but without the light bar. It's just the rack that goes just about cab height

I had the first rack case ever made. It was great solid as a rock and held everything I ever needed it to. On a dcsb though you really can't move it around and the only reason i eventually got rid of it was because when I had the rack on i couldnt get into my toolbox.

Why? Just cause we have different ideas on what we want? You're the engineer here. You can finalize drawings and ideas, then we can work on getting them fabricated. I got a buddy that owns a fab shop here in town.

So what did you think? Did the kiddos enjoy themselves?

Do you weld? Do you have access to welding equipment or fab shop? If so can you bring along a friend? :D

Used to weld. Worked at Mag-Alum many years back welding on aluminum. Don't have any of my own equipment though. I would love to build my own rack to my specifications but due to the plans on installing a RTT on it, I would like to make sure that it will support the required weight that I plan on putting on it. Not sure if my rusty skills would be up for that challenge. :notsure:
