I'll remember that in 348 days.

Is the new Tacoma upsizing? You seem to already own one..

Just look at the build thread
The Tacoma is already the size of first gen Tundras.

    :D

I'm just assuming that it'll continue the trend of most trucks/SUVs, and that initially they start moderately sized and moderately powered, then the swell begins until they grow full 4 door cabs, then the cabs get bigger, engines get bigger (at least in numbers) and so on and so forth.

    Murica.

Also it wouldn't make too much sense for the GM midsize addition to be enormously larger than the Tacoma, it's nearest competitor, unless they were aware the next gen Tacoma would be similarly sized, and they struck the market first in the size wars.

I'm going to be sad if they decide to leave out a locker. That's one thing that kind of differentiates them from everyone else.

Unless the ZR2 Colorado becomes a production vehicle. It has front and rear lockers.

Really? I would've thought for sure the Ranger was king of the small midsize.

So Colorado, Tacoma, Frontier? Still seems pretty close in size to the Frontier. My fiance's uncle has a first gen quad cab Frontier and it's.. tiny.

The rangers were awesome. They just got bad mpg compared to full size.

I think if ford tried they could bring it back with better economy.

And fiance's brother has a Colorado extended cab which doesn't seem any smaller.

The 1st gen frontiers are about the same as the tacomas. The first colorado's are a bit smaller than the first hen tacoma/frontier. Imagine a quad can ranger and make it smaller.

I am tall but not wide amd found the first colorados very claustrophobic....like the access cab seats would be considered a full cab.

I used to hit my head on the A pilar in a 2006 Frontier A LOT, it was my primary reason as a tall person for preferring the second gen tacoma over the frontier

IIRC the Ranger had a lot of torque for it's size. Peppy trucks.

Obviously. Look at the DC rear doors too, practically as big as the front. So the cabin is bigger
