Not sure. Is there a code or such somewhere that gives the production location? It was my understanding that all the Pros were being built in Texas, but who knows.

Had to work today so not much chance to play with the truck. Did swap in the Odyssey Battery that was waiting for its arrival and did the Homelink & Cell Phone stuff. N-fab Wheel to Wheel 2" with hoop steps are on order and the Snugtop Shell should be here about the first of the year. Had to special order it as no one stocks any Inferno Shells. Great Dealer up in Redding Ca. They ordered my shell and are pulling the rack tubes off of an XTR they have in stock to get them powder coated Satin Black (stock is silver) so I can pick mine up as soon as it gets there. I'll post some pics when I get it. Doing the Snugtop XTR in Inferno with Black Rack Tubes / and sort of Gunmetal Gray Headliner with the same color Bed Rug. Here's a pic from today with not much done yet, and cloudy so it kind of looks that Tomato Soup Color.

Did the tailgate mods today to slow down those who like to steal tailgates. That's about it for now, waiting on the ordered goodies to come in.

Pictures don't do the truck justice. I saw one on the highway as I was driving in that orange. Man that thing looks ridiculous in person and that grill

Nice truck OP glad you like it.

if the vin starts with a 3 its built in Mexico, if it's a 1,4,or 5 it's built in the usa. I am very happy with mine, it was built in Mexico. It has been great. Apparently the Mexico plant has a much lower percentage of problems or factory defects. It seems like maybe they have a bit more to live up to. Either way they have to build it to Toyota's standards. Which as we all know is pretty high.

Vin starts with a 5 so USA. If I remember right the Pro Tacos are supposedly built in Texas. Thanks for the info on the Vin vs build location. Still waiting on parts so all I did today was sit in the truck and "Talk to Her", definitely a "Her" as it took a while before she understood me! Kinda cool to just tell the truck to "Phone Home" and she does it! My neighbor is into lots of LED Xmas stuff...he has a roll of the LED lights like are being used in the beds and is going to donate it to the truck as he isn't going to use them, so the shell will be getting the Bed Light Mod also.

It is a very strange color....doesn't like the Sodium type lights used in parking lots and such...makes it look as my Lady says :Campbell's Tomato Soup" color...lots of gold or such in the paint...get it out in the sun and it is a very bright Burnt Reddish Orange....way cool color! I actually got to see it in person before I bought mine as the picks from the Auto Show made it look like crap....saw it in person and loved it. One of those "grows on you colors".

Not sure what info the dealers have but when I picked mine up the Manager of the Dealership said it was a good thing I got my 15 Pro as there wasn't going to be one with the new 16 model year, and that if they did re-do them it would most likely be 3 or 4 years. I didn't say anything about the Model change, he just offered up the "It is gonna be a one of" comment, so maybe they know something?

Bought a Scan Gauge II today so will "double check" the dealer tomorrow and make sure the tranny fluid is topped off. They supposedly checked it so we shall see. Also need to run the power feed to the rear for the lights in the shell. Nerfs are in transit, shell is ordered so just some minor playing to do until the stuff gets here. Maybe eliminate the white 4x4 on the flaps, but haven't decided yet....any thoughts on that one?

Thanks! I won't get the shell until early January as it was a special order due to the Inferno color. I'll post some pics up when I get.

Capitalism got in the way of things today so not much new. Did plug in the Scan Gauge and program it for the Tranny Temp. Checked the level (at about 125 degrees F)...just a trickle came out so either the dealer did as asked and made sure it was topped off or it came full from the factory....or both. No time to run the aux power to the back so it will have to wait until after Xmas.

Decide to put the Scan Gauge in the cubby in front of the shifter. Still need to clean up the plastic chips and the hole for the cable but figured I'd post a pic. Was getting to cold to stay out working on the truck.

Got my N-Fab Wheel to Wheel Tube Steps today. Very easy install and now Moma will be happy as she can get in and out of the truck much easier.
