    They're trending in the wrong direction and will not compete in the new NFC. In 2009 finesse was winning games, not anymore and they haven't adapted. If you don't have a top 10 defense you're not going anywhere.

    Not a cliche at all. A good defense will set you up to win, you still have to have some semblance of an offense. Those teams have shitty offenses, you can't be terrible on one side of the ball and expect to win. If anything, it proves my point.
