Received the lights yesterday (3VP). Just installed the lights in my console and glove box. I got the white lights for each and am impressed with the light output. What an easy and inexpensive addition.

I have the wired under dash light too in amber (V2W). These are all great products. Must buys in my opinion.

Just finished installing the V2W. Overall, took me about 15 minutes. Very impressive product and a huge difference with the interior. Excited to check this out at night. Fast shipping and great people to deal with! Not the greatest photos, but you get the idea.

Does the V2W-0511 fit OK with a Panavise mount that is in the same area?

 

Unfortunately, no. Our unit is designed to fit with the factory dash.

 

Do you think the edge could be filed down a little bit to make it fit? The mount is pretty slim.

 

Received mine today and got it installed! I sent an email to French asking about tracking cause I was anxious but right after I hit send the mail man showed up of course.

Can't wait until it gets dark to see the console area all lit up.


After I installed it I got a little worried because it wouldn't turn on but I adjusted it a little bit and it was all working. I think it was because the pins weren't making contact

 

I would say, it is absolutely possible but, we cannot guarantee. Call French (757-288-5702) tomorrow and ask for a "dead case" to do a dummy fit. I think, if you're willing to pay ONLY the cost of shipping, we could hook you up. If it works, we'll likely credit you at least a portion of that cost to an actual unit.

Let me know your thoughts. I'll call the boss tomorrow and give him a heads up.

 

Yeah, he's an animal with production. He's been staying up as late as 06:00am trying to get all these orders built.

Let us know your thoughts after a few nights. Please DON'T spend too much time admiring / fiddling while driving! The newness can be quite distracting and dangerous if you're not paying attention.
