I'm heading out to Forbidden Plateau on Sunday morning with a buddy in his Pajero following along. Going to explore the abandoned ski lodge there. Maybe hike around.
    Anyone is welcome to join.

Hey if you're going out today, i'm down.
I checked out my washington and went as high as I could before i was spinning through the snow to the gravel then shot forward then repeat... i didn't want to kill my tires so i called it a day.

Didn't end up going out then. But will probably be heading out this coming weekend at some point. Possibly towards Strathcona Dam.

Are there ever meets in Vic? I saw a group of tacomas last year, and I was wondering if you guys ever get together. I don't know if I want to do any trails yet, there's still a couple things I need to figure out on my truck before I wheel it, but if there's ever a meet and greet sort of thing, I'd be down.

I'd be into a meet n greet or mod day. Perhaps a trail run in Duncan next month

Thread revival. Feeler for a group meet and wheel through some snow when it finally comes. I have a gate key for Island Timberlands which opens up a lot of mid-Island FSR gates. (Nanaimo to Parksville and back towards Port Alberni kinda thing)

I am lift-less and DCLB so I won't be doing anything too hairy but reply if you're interested and I can try to set something up in Dec or Jan. Looking to go get the truck stuck in some deep snow at higher elevations if need be.

Cool. weekends only? I'm thinking in a few weeks we should have some snow on some of the local hills.

Keep an eye on this thread then and we'll try to set something up if you don't mind coming down to Nanaimo.

I'm free during the week as well until mid January. Then it would have to be a weekend only thing.
