A good cleaner wax every now and then does the trick. But I enjoy taking my shocks off way to much.

Mothers or Mcguirs. Sometimes I use that once a year stuff that comes in the orange bottle, forget the name.

thanks for the info, I'll be adding a ton of clear to keep it looking as best as possible. I used a ton of paint just painting the underside.

    Pre-paint..had a lot to cover...

    Yes
Anyone with a 4x4 have their front straps going to the CO lower bolt ? Any pics you can share of how your strap is routed and where your clevis is mounted ? I have a mid travel set up with aftermarket LCA's but no extra tabs so I have to use the CO bolt.

I am, but the LT kits have tabs for dual shocks and I am running mine off the rear of the bypass tab to the old factory bump location. If I were you, I'd just weld a tab off the rear side of the arm.

Do you use that on the shafts or body? I've never heard of using wax on a shock before

I live a block from the beach so I'm in a constant struggle to keep my shocks from rusting. Buy far the best product I've used is Fluidfilm the stuff is amazing. Spray it on once every couple months and no rust at all.

On the body. The coatings they use suck, even on the name brand shocks. The wax also keeps mud from sticking to them so they are easy to clean.

    Almost everything
Did my own. Really crappy pic though. Used 3/16 plate with a weld washer and then boxes in over the top of it. Really easy to do.
