I am going to order a set of extra high sliders after reading this .
My drivers door looks like someone took a ball peen hammer and went wide .
It will not buff out :D

Got no choice where I park at work as I need to be plugged in (block heater ) for a 12 hour shift . I go to work early in an attempt to get the parking spot beside the hydro pole . Passenger side looks new , drivers side ...not so much

Nope. It all happen when I am not with the truck. I always reverse my truck in the parking lot so its always eye to eye whenever someone going to park next to me. But always have a mini heart attack whenever someone reverse out of the parking lot lol.

But man I cant wait to lift my truck and then get those slider. Nothing feel better than coming out and see your slider a bit scratched on one spot.

I didn't expect my key to go through the lens like butter (I just wanted to leave her a scratch unlike the dent she put in my truck) and I've regretted it ever since.

So, to that fat ugly pig that threw her door into the side of my red 84 Nissan 720 KC 2wd gas, turned down torsion bars, 85 Cavalier z24 front bumper and white wagon wheels....I'm sorry.

I was sitting with my girlfriend in the truck and a woman smashed her door into my truck. My girlfriend promptly opened her door and started berating this woman. Funniest thing I've seen! The woman's door hit the edge of my plate bumper though... So no damage done, besides the huge scratch and dent in her door, and hurt ego from my gf ripping into her. I just sat there dumbfounded...

I love my sliders, all my life I parked out away from people to protect my cars and trucks.
Now I jam in no matter how close the others are! ;)

Not since I installed my sliders. Had a bloke in a new BMW park over the line and slam his into my slider while I was eating lunch one day. My work has a terrible parking lot (lots of people coming and going, and super narrow spots), and almost everyone gets door dinged at least once a week.

Now I just need something to protect my mirrors from getting knocked around by the same door dinging idiots.

Yes, when I used to drive that little stock 91 Civic sedan. I was sitting in the car at 7-11, was tuning in the radio. Ghetto dude in a ragged ass old Lincoln pulled up next to me, "music" thumping, shut the car off, and flung open the door, right into my front passenger door. He looked at it for a second, and walked quickly into the store. I was waiting to see if he would even acknowledge what he did, because he looked right at me. Of course not. I got out to inspect the damage when he went in. Nice big scrapey dent, took the paint off in one spot.
I got back in the car and waited for him to come back out. When he did, he proceeded to get in his car, not even looking my way. I got out and politely asked him if he had realized that he had hit my car with his door.
"Nah man, I ain't do that. Sorry bout your luck."
"I was sitting right here, I saw you do it."
"Fuck you, bitch, I ain't paying for that shit."
Slammed it in reverse and was gone. I was madder than a wet cat.
One other time (in the Taco,) at the same 7-11, a little kid flung open the door to his mom's car and scraped my paint. The little guy was like six or seven, and when he saw what he did, his eyes got real big. His mom started yelling at him, telling him that now she was going to owe me money, and he started crying. I felt bad for the kid- I mean, he was just a little kid. She tried to hand me fifty bucks, but I refused. Told her I wasn't worried about it, because my truck was a $250 work truck, it had plenty of scratches and dents.

Few times for me, but that's why I love my sliders lol. They're always a rainbow of colors from other peoples cars.

One time this girl flung her door open (passenger) and whacked my sliders. I rolled down my window and said something like, you might want to be more careful next time. I also said "It didn't hurt me, but it sure screwed up your friends door". The girl driver looked mad at me and her friend lol

I'll admit I hit another person's car while they were in it. I was trying to load a large box into the back seat of the truck and it was a little bigger than how far I had the door open. Upon pushing the box in it flung my door open and hit the next car. I guess the dude worked at the mall and was on his lunch break. He was cool about it, and just told me to be more careful about it next time.

Happened to me last year. It was cloudy outside, so the guy didn't even see me after he did it, due to my window tint; asshole just shrugged his shoulders and went inside. I got out to assess the damage, and after seeing a little dent, I proceeded to take my dip out and stick it under his door handle. I wish I could've stayed to see his face :puke:
