    Agh so much info :goingcrazy: I just want some resi bilsteins... I don't want the shocks the all-poo offers. Too much $$$.

    I figured I just needed the fully extended and compressed measurements. In theory, they sell 5100s for 3-4" of rear lift... I think I could just order my resi bilsteins with the same compressed and extended numbers, correct?

    AP doesn't make shocks, so not sure what you are talking about.

    Apparently you need extended, compressed, and at rest.
    As I mentioned, once things get changed up, the stock bumps might be too short. Providing the right height bumps keeps the leafs safe from too much negative arch. Also, I read that the limit in up travel actually helps provide down travel on the other side (I saw it on pirate4x4, it was late so I didn't retain all the info).

    Who's to say the 5100 are correct for your setup to begin with? I have doubts my OME were ever really sporting the proper numbers.

    I'm talking about the ones they offer with the expo pack. I don't need some fancy ass foxes or walker evans.
    I don't get the at rest part...
    Hmm... I didn't think that a limited uptravel would help downtravel... That's interesting though.
    My current ones for sure won't be. The only reason I brought up 5100s is because theyre the only shocks I can find for the Tacoma that say good for 3-4" of lift. I saw that and thought hey if they would work with the expos, then a shock with the same specs should work...
