    Thank you for the words of encouragement. I do, in fact have one of these high quality, light weight relocation brackets already installed on my truck. In fact, I even went so far as to prime it, paint it to match my truck, and clear coat it before I installed it. It works quite well.

    Yeah, just clean and prime. They come out pretty nice painted.

    As long as it's clean, rustoluem primer should do fine. The rustoluem self etching primer seems to work well and doent take too long to dry.

    Right... Forgot about that. Usually paint dries pretty quick here as long as it's not crazy humid. The self etching primer seems to dry quicker than other primers I have used. And then the automotive enamel over that is pretty tough and also seems to dry quick. Acrylic enamel has very strong vapors tho if you gonna spray it in the garage.
