I was Lloyds producer when I Florida before I sold my agency in '04. My broker, who is a good friend is a correspondent to Lloyds and has spent years working there. He specialized in cargo/freight insurance and has plenty of stories. He says they only work until lunch and then go to private clubs or pubs, drink all afternoon and make the real deals. I would love to attend a few sessions just to say I've done it.

$355 MSRP $270 is what these guys are selling it for. I would do that in a heartbeat if that's what the tacoma grill went for.

$430+ puts it into the back burner for a bit for me.

Ok I just talked to the parts department and my guy says he can order it for me but corporate requires a VIN. List price on that piece is $256 with a color matched surround. Only comes in white, black, or the new inferno red. So if anyone in the so cal area wants to hook it up with a VIN for their pro, I can make it worth your time.

To each his own. I love the way that the recessed 05-11 grills look but the flush mesh for the 2012+ that is available from him and several others just looks like a quick aftermarket bolt on mod to me.

So that wasn't a TRD Pro VIN number... You said you could find 100's on Toyota's web site? Where? If I had an actual VIN number I could get my hands on one of these.

Yeah, I found one that should work now. The guy at the parts department said that the VIN I gave him before was not even in Toyota's database, lol.

It's a pro vin from a white TRD pro here at the local dealership - they list them on the net when you browse their inventory...there are 100s of pro vins

Yeah, that's how I found the one that I just used. But the one that you gave me before wasn't even in their database. Even the parts guy said something about the last 8 values not being normal for a VIN. Apparently the last 8 are normally in the format of AANNNNN.

(A being an alphabetical value, N being a numerical value)
