Just offered a Christmas shift.
That one shift can pay for my prerunner front bumper.
Not sure if I want to work tho.

When just starting out you may want to take whatever extra they offer you. I know its not fun and sucks but could really pay out in the long run

Meh. Ima get as much overtime and work as possible once the holidays are over. So they'll see I'm plenty committed. Plus I'm just in training still anyway.

They only offered it to us cause we don't got holiday pay since we haven't been here long enough so the 12 hour offer was just to make up for the pay we lose for holidays.

Wasn't cause we actually have to push work out the door.

Holiday pay?

I ony get time and a half. Most of my buddies get double time!

 

I would get double and a half time for 8 hours for holiday pay plus time and a half for overtime for the other 4 hours. I think.

 

I doubt it lol
