The careful application of the ignore list feature of the forum has reduced my frustration level significantly, both in this area and the general truck forums. Just a thought.

Calm down little feller. I'm not saying they are the best at what they do, but they have been in the business for over thirty years. The thundertrap works excellent on the .308 bolt guns it was designed for, but not on .300 blk. The Amphibian is also an excellent AWC product with glowing revues. The whole point was to be cautious jumping on to the .300 blk SBR/suppressed bandwagon. I'm sure you agree that is solid advice.

I wouldn't blame the platform at all as being the issue. I've been running 300BLK in SBR platforms for years w/o a single problem and know several that have had the same experience. It never ceases to amaze me when someone buys an oddball product and then has issues and then when you point out the obvious possible culprit they take offense. When I posted I was doing so in a joking manner but there was some degree of seriousness to the post.

For a firearm discussion thread there sure are a bunch of thin skinned sissy bed-wetters who get their jimmies ruffled over anything in here. I thought firearm owners were supposed to be a little bit tougher than the average person?

I bought a 5.11 hazard prime or something for a range bag. Put all the essentials in it including ammo and magazines. Yeehaw

No doubt man. I'd love too. Better stockpile more ammo if I'm going out with you :).

Ever fired a IWI Tavor? 9mm Bullpup. I had the opportunity to break one down today and thought it was pretty interesting. Read some mixed reviews but, I am considering.

I don't know that the can was the problem. Might be the barrel, I dunno. Didn't try any other cans. You seem sure the can is the problem, but the can works fine on other rifles leading any reasonable person to agree maybe that isn't the issue. Have a Merry Christmas, go drink some eggnogg and rub one out or something.

I haven't fired one. I've never been a big fan of bullpups in general, but I see their place. It would be a nice truck gun, and in tight spots would be easy to move around with.

You can never have too much ammo! There are some cool camping/shooting spots in this part of Oregon, come spring thaw maybe we can go on an adventure. :D

My first suspicion was the thread/barrel/muzzle device but you ruled that out when you said everything checked concentric so am I supposed to call you a liar? Man, if you can't take someone questioning a suppressor manufacturer I'm sure that woulda gone over real well.

I have two ATN scopes and can't find any info on them. I'm at work now so no pics or info I can provide but does anyone know where I can find out about them? The ATN sight is all night vision and these are not. I know they are around 10 years old or so and they have huge objective lenses like 60 or 70mm! Wanna say like 4-16x65mm's. Any ideas on info or prices, at least till I can provide more info?

Truck gun. Bingo. Inner City self defense :)
We would absolutely love to. Maybe we can also plan one so you don't have to be home during the roundup :). I will drag Brady's ass out there as well. He thinks he is going to have a real job in Idaho by then, HA!
Where are you ordering ammo from?

Usually Aim Surplus or Palmetto. The prices are ok for green tip, especially if you sign up for their emails to get the discount deals. I'm sure there are cheaper places to get it, but I have had good luck with both companies.
Brady would have a hoot for sure.
