    Looking for your guys opinions.

I have the Bridgestone Dueler HT 265/65/17 on my truck now and have a guy who wants them, and since I want a better tire I figure why not sell em?

    Goals:
    1. Light off road capable
    2. Lower road noise
    3. Decent gas mileage
    4. More aggressive look

Therefore I am looking at upping my size to 265/70/17

    I am considering the following
    - BFG Rugged Terrain
    - Bridgestone Dueler Revo
    - Firestone Destination AT

What do you guys think? Am I missing a good tire in that $150 price zone?

I've ran these on a ton of trucks. IMHO they are are much better tire than the others you listed.

i put BFGoodrich Rugged Terrain T/A P265/70R17 113T ORWL on and have been happy with them.

Cooper Discoverer AT3, pretty low road noise and very very capable off road and in snowy /wet conditions. I've had them on for roughly 5k and they beat my previous BFG ATs in every category thus far.

AT tires are a compromise. Terra Grapplers or Michelin at/2. since you are sport and have 17" wheels look at new Terra grappler 2's. wish they were offered in 16".

    Those Michelin AT/2s look stout.

I gave these a chance since they came on my truck

bumped ONE rock on sidewall, ripped sidewall open down to the white rubber layer

GARBAGE TIRE !!! this is the same rock I have been bumping/sliding against with Michelins for the past 16 years. Michelin just laughs at it, no damage whatsoever. BFG, first time, sidewall rip.

It's funny, because I just had some punk kid who installs tires at a local shop yell at me for 3 hours on FB because I said Dynapro's are better on logging roads than BFG's. All of the people I know who have put on BFG's have hated them for blowouts and uneven wear. He got really upset because his place doesn't sell Hankook, only Toyo and BFG, and tried to act like that wasn't the reason he was arguing for BFG's :D.

I loved Michelin at/2 on my ford escape. Going with Terra Grappler on the Tacoma in 265/75/16 since I can't get G2 in 16" yet.

I had horrible luck with terra grapplers on my last truck, 97 f350 powerstroke crew cab, less than 40,000 miles and I never thought they performed excellent in any condition. I got 80,000 miles on michelin at2s, and felt confident in all situations.

I don't remember seeing the bfg rugged trail being mentioned by the op. Maybe I'm blind though. The bfg rugged terrain that he mentioned is a different tire.

On a side note I have run the Cooper at3 and atp and have had no complaints. They do very well in the snow.

My two choices of tires. Both not as aggressive looking but work as described

Leaning towards at/2. i can get them in 265/75/16 pretty cheap. not an aggressive looking tire, but perform well in all conditions.
