Good lord there is no down travel in that thing at all!

Look at the post I quoted above Josh. Click the blue arrow and then click the second pic... Its a 3 inch db lift with stock coils and a 6 inch spacer on top of the stock coil.

 

There's no such thing as a 3" DB. That's a 3" spacer on top of the coilover. A 6" coilover spacer would be physically impossible to install hahaha

 

He said its a 3" pro comp coil with a 6 inch spacer lift... Clearly he doesnmt know what he has then...

He has this:

3" procomp drop bracket lift
3" procomp coil overs
3" coil spacer

Otherwise from his words thats a fucking 6" coil spacer and a 3" coil lift

So his CV's are displaced by 6"?!. If so I'm curious how long the cv joints will last. They wouldn't last very long I would think.

 

3". The coil spacer is with the 6" drop bracket lift, then the 3" coil lift on top.
The Coil lift is all that is going to effect his CV angles.

 

I know how spacer lifts work. The post before mine was suggesting that OP has a 6" spacer on his truck. I was just commenting that such a long spacer would put the CV's at an amazingly steep angle, if it's even possible to do, and I would think the CV's wouldn't last very long.

i have a 6in spacer front and rear... the front coilovers are not stock, they are procomps 3in lift coils

 

But the angle wouldn't be bad because the drop bracket should also drop the front diff. His angles should be the same as someone who has just a 3" lift.

 

yes in theory but theyre not all, trust me i thought the same thing until i put it all together, the 6in kit doesnt drop the front diffrential back to the stock height like i thought it would. the cv angles are terrible. do you think if i put all pro offroads extended a arm kit on it allow for more travel for fix the angle of the front axles? i need some ways to adjust the angles on those bad boys.

You keep saying spacer lift. You have a drop bracket lift in the front. The fact that you don't call it what it is causes a lot of confusion to what you actually have.

So to set it straight, what exactly do you have?

6" drop bracket lift (drop bracket for front, spacer for rear)
And
3" coilovers in front with aal in the rear.

And yes. Regardless of the 6" lift, anything with a 3" suspension lift should have aftermarket uca's. All pro is not the only ones that make them, but those are the ones I would NOT buy.

 

except from the pics it looks like the cvs are kissing the a arms the entire time. Mine are nowhere near that lol.

look into extended lca and even the allpro extended cv's they have. dunno if aftermarket upper control arms will help much but yours look so maxed out it must hurt those bushings....

 

who do yall recommend for extended upper and lower a arms?

Your lower control arms are not bolted to the frame. They are bolted to the drop bracket, which is bolted to the frame. I'm guessing you did not install any of this?
