[IMG]AP Tommy Rees will begin his coaching career close to where his football career began. Rees, who played in all four of his seasons at Notre Dame from 2010-13, will be an offensive graduate assistant at Northwestern

Patterson was voted college football coach of the year by The Associated Press on Wednesday, joining Nick Saban as the only two-time winners

still didn't make it to the final 4 though

You forgot to post the news where Dan Mullen beat out Urban Meyer for the Maxwell Club coach of the year award. I mean, you love posting news about Urban Meyer, right?

Patterson received 27 of 54 votes from the AP Top 25 media panel. Urban Meyer of Ohio State was the runner-up with 14 votes. Mississippi State's Dan Mullen received six votes. Saban and Arizona's Rich Rodriguez drew two votes each. Florida State's Jimbo Fisher, Baylor's Art Briles and Memphis' Justin Fuente had one

The point is some on this board said meyer didn't deserve it but runner up with 14 votes proves I was right once again.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
He still lost. Kind of like how you keep pointing out tcu isn't in the playoffs, he didn't win the award. Just shut the fuck up already.

Meyer came in second? That's like a booby prize, right?

No not really. Missing the playoffs and winning coach of the year is a better description of a booby prize.

Why LSU wins big: Notre Dame has quarterback issues and LSU has a secondary that is one of the best nationally at defending the pass. If Leonard Fournette & Co. can run the ball the way they did on Thanksgiving against Texas A&M against Notre Dame's banged-up D, the Tigers should be able to cruise to a win. LSU 27, Notre Dame 17 -- Sam Khan Jr.

Why Notre Dame keeps it close: With the exception of Kentucky, LSU hasn’t blown out a Power 5 team all season. This team simply is not built for that. As bad as Notre Dame’s defense has played down the stretch -- and they have been bad -- the Fighting Irish will hang around. If only LSU had a quarterback. LSU 24, Notre Dame 21 -- Greg Ostendorf

He didn't deserve it. He didn't win it. How does that prove you are right? Your logic is bad and you should feel bad.
    This.
    This.
But he didn't win the prize, thus you're wrong.
Florida State and TPD made their cases for Jameis already. No need to make another.

This is probably an ESPN metric.

They print the name of a 3rd string QB but not Heisman winner.

Correction: they did print JW's name, it's in the bottom right corner and talks about his off-field issues...

You probably think Justice Harding was in on the conspiracy too.

You see McMurphy try to make a story about nothing with Dalvin?

Mcmurphys tweet read as if Dalvin was the one with the gun, even though on the actual police report he is listed as an associate who wasn't there and saw nothing.

just like you said ohio state had no chance making it in the final 4 even though they dismantled the number 13 team in the country with a Third stringer at the helm.
