Was able to get a bunch more stuff done this weekend. Check it.

TRD Battery strap from Coupe and buttoned up my bluesea panel

Running wires inside. Decided to get a gear keeper CB mic mount. Might move it to the passenger side. Its sits right in my line of sight of the rear view mirror.

Bed went back on, rear bumper bolted up. All the wires re-connected and the rock sliders went on. Major progress.

Rear suspension setup.
Got my E2 20" installed today, and finished wiring the lights and CB.


Was able to get a few things taken care of this weekend. Not as much as I would have liked, but I ran into a snag on the exhaust and my E2 20" didn't show up Friday so I wasn't able to finish the bumper lights.

INstalled upper and lower control arms on each side and the HD Camburg heim steering clevis.

Kinda a crappy photo, but I prepped 3 of the 4 switches for install.

And last. I received my URD performance Y-pipe, got that installed.
I buttoned up a BUNCH of stuff this weekend. Hopefully by next weekend, she'll be drive-able.
Got the bumper bolted in and lights mounted. Going to be swapping the SR2 with a Rigid E2 20".

Popped off the bump stop plates

Got the Allpro IFS skid mounted

Got the Allpro trans skid mounted

Mocking up the Allpro rocksliders. Wouldnt work with jack stands in the way.

Bolted the flip kit up, new shackle from Armortech and spacers. Getting ready to mount bump cans.

Bump cans all welded up!

Finished putting the interior back together with the newly painted flat black trim.

Bump cans painted and air bumps installed.

And finally today, got the rear shocks on and tires mounted. First time in almost a month that shes on her own feet.



Headers installed. Biggest pain in the ass so far.

Knocked off the driver side bump stop plate. Ready to prep for the new FOX 2.0 bumps. Also buttoned up the headers.

Also got the spindles painted.

Painted my Pelfreybilt fuse panel

Headers came. Waiting on catback exhaust and need to buy Y-pipe

Painted all the interior trim flat black

Welded up my spindle gussets

Installed the K&N

Installing the front bumper Allpro APEX

Installed my OTRATTW switches and painted the center console

Ready for the cab mount chop plate

Added a smittybilt X2O 10K w/synthetic line, factor 55 prolink and fairlead. Also, a sport hood. ​

Thanks guys. I recommend staying tuned. There will be a lot more to this build, and once I get rolling with it, I will try my damnedest to post detailed photos of what I am doing and a little write up to go along.

 

HA! Thanks. I figured, if I am going to do this. Lets do it right, and lets only do it once. (well so I think) lol.

Within the last few hours I completely changed my mind and picked up a set of 5 Method 305 NV's. As much as I hate the 4Wheelparts by my house, they had a killer deal on a set of 5. So i pulled the trigger. Should be here next week or the week after.

I love it. I'm excited to see where this all goes. You're truck is gonna gonna be built very similarly to defconbrix.

 

Its gonna be an epic build! That's the truck I first based it off of. A few differences, but close.

Not to thread jack my own thread, but WOW! What a culture shock I bet you're experiencing!? From Huntington Beach to Alaska!? LOL.

 

I'm in the coast guard (6yrs now) so ive lived in Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, been on deployment all over the carribean and south America, as well as the aluetian islands and south east alasaka. This summer I will be transferring down to airstation san Diego for my new tour. It will be nice to be back closer to home

Are your rear smoothies 12", or just standard? Didn't see a rear shock relocation from BAMF or Pelfreybilt, so curious... I'm getting ready to sell my ICON 2.5 Rem Res rears because I didn't get the right stuff from the beginning. Going to switch out to BAMF rear shock relocation, ATO shackle flip and King 12" smoothies for the extra travel/ droop.

Just something to think about, wish someone would have pointed me down that road to begin with.
