    Idk if any of y'all have had this but if you've had Jamison before, this is a lot smoother then the normal stuff. $10 more a 1/5th but much better tasting

    Wheel painting finished. Sanded, primed, 3 coats color, 3 coats clear. Can't get a picture to show the colors very well but here are the finished center caps.

    Now just gotta wait a couple weeks for paint to really harden before I let the tire shop mount a set of TerraGrappler G2 in 285/70.

    If I disappear forever, it means I got impatient and the wife caught me baking the paint in her oven.
    ;)


    Also related to tires, any of you tried the Nitto NT421Q? I can't decide between those or just get another set of NT850 for my Highlander.

    Anyways, I don't even know how to know which key is correct? Like do I have to measure my lug nuts, or how many sides there are?

    I would start at a wheel shop. I lost a lug nut for my motometal wheels, stopped in to try to pay for a lugnut and the guy just gave me 1 for free just like my original, aftermarket nuts that came with the wheels. Hopefully you'll get lucky

    Not enamel. It was automotive paint. "Acrylic Lacquer".
    There is nothing on the label about final drying time or curing. I know in general they say wait 30 days to wash a car after new paint. Guess I should give it at least half that. Especially with the cool humid weather lately.

    And yeah Gid, I hand painted the T on caps. Just sprayed some paint to a small dish and kept swirling it to keep the metallic mixed even before dipping the brush.
