Sunday! Not really, but plan for the worst everyone. This snow could be fun. I will be bringing chains, Phil might be the only one that could use my extra set though. Michelin Man might be able to also.

Well chains would certainly accelerate the current process of self-clearancing that's going on now.

My fear is that it would come at too high of a cosmetic cost.

Actually, the rubber holding the chains on probably wouldn't make it by the UCAs
    :p

I'm riding with Michelin. Thank you for the offer, but he's going to pick me up on the way up, so it's easier.

I may have a jeep buddy meeting us up there....advised him to LMK by tonight.

I drove to DIA last night and back and denver got a lot more snow than the springs. By the time I got to monument/Air Force academy, the interstate was just wet with no snow. After midnight our back yard went from a little to covered but it's not thick by any means

I just got done cleaning walks and it seems like we got about 6"-7" here at the foothills NW of Loveland. Pretty moist dense stuff too.

Naa, step daughter just came in last night and also, I need an alignment before I die. My front end is wandering all over the place and there is a dead spit in the steering

NOAA reported accumulations in the Deckers area of only an inch. Through a jeep forum my brother is on some guys were on Hackett this past Monday and there is about 8"s in the area.

Hackett Gulch, Long Water Gulch, and Metberry Gulch. All southwest of the town of West Creek which is south of Deckers or north of Woodland Park if you are coming from the Springs. We are talking about Sedalia which is where we will catch HWY67 south of Highland Ranch but north of Castle Rock.

    Are you thinking of attending?

Looking at 67 to 97 or we might try an option of Sugar Creek Rd which isn't bad in the summer but not certain how icy it will be in the winter. This drops us further down on 97 to Deckers. Then back to 67 south to West Creek. From there we will either hit HWY 64 to HWY 3 to Cedar Mountain Rd. which is the fire road above all of the gulches.

If snow is minimal we might try Stump Rd (68) to 51 which is the same back road I took early spring this year to attempt to meet up with the group that ran the gulches in Feb/March. But that was a bit hairy in March so I don't know what it will be like right now.
