    I also had the privilege of getting a free pass to drive as fast as I could to the fire marshals house, had him and his family over for supper and he got called out so I had to run him up to his house to get his truck so he could respond.

    Seen it done before....but its probably not what he meant.

    Personal loan interest rates are usually half of what a credit card is. Sometimes it makes more sense to just do a personal loan and eliminate all the interest from the cards.

    Yes, I paided them off with a loan :rolleyes: I also paid off some other debts I had. It's called debt consolidation.
    You both nailed it. The interest rate on a personal loan is much lower than the interest rate on most credit cards. I did a lot of math before deciding to go ahead with the loan; I'll be saving $400+ a month and in terms of time I'll have the loan paid off in about as long as it would take to pay off all my credit cards and the other debts I also eliminated.
