Is the tread worn down on your current tires? I'm just running the stock ATs without a lift and haven't had any issues out there yet. Granted, I've avoided alot of the trails just because I don't want to rub my undercarriage since my truck is only 4 months old.

Hankooks and Destinations... ATs or MTs? The tires on it are pretty well worn, especially the fronts since the alignment was out. The frame looks like shit and there's a lot of scaly rust, but no perforation.

I need to meet up with one of you with a SC to take some measurements for a mounting plate. Can anyone oblige?

I had p245/75r16 2ply firestone destination ATs and they worked but i wore them fast.....split a sidewall on a pothole :(

My LT245/75r16 10ply Hankook dynapro ATMs have been a dream.

I like to think i sold Matt (Leapualkid01) on the hankooks :D

    Haven't heard of them.

I was between the nitto Terra's and hankooks. Both have excellent reviews, but for me it came down to the fact that the nitto's are a heavier and more expensive than the hankooks (along with persuasion from Mason to go with the Hankooks..). I haven't second guessed them since though. Only had them a month but have about 3k miles on them. Only spun them once, but the treads were fully mud and the road was wet so that's kinda expected. Haven't had any grip problems at all otherwise and I drive through gravel, dirt, and mud on pretty much a daily basis since I work in construction.

Edit: I've heard good things about the Coopers as well. One of my contractor buddies had the Falkens on his F250 and said they were great at first, but once the tread started wearing down he started having problems with grip and vibrations. That's the only thing I've ever heard of them though, so take that with a grain of salt lol

Edit #2: Yea, Mason sort of sold me on the Hankooks. They look awesome and are a great overall tire. Not overly amazing in any one situation, but I haven't had any reason to doubt them yet. Mine are LT265/70/18s. BFG's are nice, I just can't justify the money - to me you're paying for the name brand seeing as how there are great tires (even better IMO) that are much cheaper for a set.

10 ply... E load rated? I want something that rides good and will have fairly long treadlife because I spend 5 days a week on the road, but I want something that will handle some off road trips. Guessing I should stay away from P rated tires & stick with the LTs.

Lots of people go with P's and don't have problems. I went with LT's because I work in construction and wanted something that wouldn't get destroyed.. I had a 3/4" screw puncture my stock tire through the center of the tread too. If you plan on spending a lot of time offroad LT's would be a good idea because of the extra sidewall strength. My tires ride great on the road. smooth and not much noise at all.

ATs on the work truck. I went with P's since it's 2wd and sees a lot of highway driving. They're close to needing to be replaced now and I'm going to get ATs again. I like them.

The one hole in my frame is now at 105mm after the dealer inspection....

FWIW, I have never liked Hankook tires. They have been on all of the work trucks at our shop and they look so damn cheap..

    I respect that.

They were made in korea and are now made in china. That is the only thing i don't like about them.
Price is great, ride is good, traction is excellent on and off road, and they look plenty meaty.

I hear good things about the Cooper AT3s but have no personal experience with them.

Yup. SPEAKING SOLEY FROM OPINION: I will never ever ever ever ever ever ever go pack to P rated. Not after spitting a sidewall on a pothole. The extra weight and cost is worth it to me. I know i can slam into rocks, curbs, and hit potholes all day before those tires will even think about giving in. I worry more about busting a shock or snapping a leaf spring  OR, knocking a bead seal loose

I also feel that the harder rubber and stiffer build of the LT makes them last longer overall when in an AT application.

Hey everyone. I just got set of Wet Okole's for the front seats for Christmas from my wife for my 2014 Baja. I did the install as best I could but I feel like it should be tighter fitting. I was wondering if I could meetup with someone to help me out with getting them done right? Anyone have experience doing the install of these things? Thanks for your help.
