    I usually recommend a small beginner quad to people so they learn to fly manually before going for the gusto and dropping a grand on a camera platform. If you haven't flown, I'd recommend a small quad initially... Like the Blade 180qx... Past that it depends on how much you want to tinker... Some are pretty integrated with limited options to modify where some are 'tinkerable' if such a word exists LOL
