Crappy pictures, but I wired up my new side mounted Leds and just mounted my new roof rack Led set up. Should have the roof ones wired next week!

Did some shooting and tested my tires in the process. They did really well in the snow!

Installed 1 of 2 AAL (Dakar extra leaf). Figured I'd go ahead and put them on since they've been in the garage since April

Looks good. What'd you do for the rear? I thought you got bumpers? Or did they not come in yet?

Called fastenal and they said front bumper should be in Monday. Rear has a possibility of being done Monday also. So, bumpers hopefully on and painted by Friday.

It's alright, I have a 1" diff drop on and none of the fins are touching, however a bumper is going to help a lot.

I decided to leave it out for now and put it in when I get new skids and a winch. However I did test fit it and I have no doubt that it will work. Thanks for all the help!

I've read quiet a bit on the whole 255 vs 285 thing and it seem if your not wanting to float on top of snow or mud, which is only needed apparently if the mud or snow is up to the frame or diff, then the 255 is the tire you need. Its superior in every other situation. Of course these are just opinion but many times they said it has been proven many times that a skinnier tire is better than a wider one in every thing besides frame or diff deep mud or snow.

I've also read some reviews on the cooper st Max and I've heard only but good thing. Some even say they are better than duratracs.

Hi all, I have my '99 Taco and by now I think I have fixed or replaced almost everything on the entire truck. Except the 2.7 engine,,,GREAT little power plant!!! 14 years old and it will still pass v6's and some v8's going up the mountain passes out of Denver.
My best addition so far has to be the rear springs. After replacing the stock springs twice because of crappy metal from Japan; I found that mid 80's Ford springs fit hole for hole! Slightly wider and a bit more curve but now my truck can easily handle 3/4 ton! And it's been the last set of springs too!!!

Thanks! I don't see snow much, if at all, and I don't like mud all that much either.

Here are the CV angles and diff drop. So it looks like on the inner boot it slightly touches. Might go away once bumper is added.
