No , if you have 885's and the 5mm trim packer and 1/2" spacers and you're at 22 1/4" , something is wrong

    are they new coils ?

I agree. I have 885's and I'm sitting at 24 driver and 24.5 on the passenger up front

Yes they are brand new. This is the second set of brand new 885's I've installed. First with the 5100's and then now with the 90021's. And I was below height on both setups.

So good news and bad news!! I just removed my OME 885's and shocks in the front so I can bring the assemblies into work tomorrow and install my new 887's (that's the good news)

The bad news is my SPC or light racing balljoints on the upper control arms have decided they wanted to be lubed with water and mud rather than grease. So my upper ball joints are toast, which explains the random noises I hear from the front end.

I installed everything in May of this year, think SPC will give me new ball joints? I'm not gonna hold my breath, but I'm going to try.

    X2

Are you sure you're measuring centre of hub to underside of fender and not top of hub ?

Yes I'm measuring from the center of my hub cap to the bottom edge of my fender directly above it. But it's visually noticeable. More so now that I installed the dakars.

Never even heard of 887's had to look them up. I guess I have been out the loop. I'm surprised no one committed on the pics I had put up the other day. I was installing some 614's ;)

Yep. Should be 4...2 on each LCA where the LCA meets the frame.

Found this pics on TW, so not mine...

Lol...yeah I'm positive. I've checked everything I can think of and researched every possibility. The only thing I can come up with is that something is slightly different with the way my front was assembled and thus my height is off compared to what numbers everyone else is seeing. I even had the mechanics at the shop that does my alignment look over and tighten everything up just to make sure.

I hear you. But this is my second set of 885's that aren't measuring up. And my first set came directly from ARB by way of Amazon. The first set was compressed and assembled by my dad who's a veteran mechanic and the second set by a buddy and I watched. Both times I verified that they were in fact 885's. Could the assembly of the strut make a difference of the end height if it only goes together one way? The only thing I thought might be a possibility is when I watched my buddy screw the center nut on the top plate that he may have over tightened it. Cause I could see the overall length of the strut assembly just get shorter and shorter. I asked if it was necessary to compress it all the way til the nut wouldn't tighten anymore. And he said yes. Can anyone chime in on this?
