Correct! Stock radio puts out like 5 watts. Your new speakers are about 50 watts rms

Look at the box your speakers came in, find how many watts rms each speaker is. Then times 4 and find a 4 channel amp for ut. Should be about 100 bucks or so

Yes, back of the radio or right at the door speaker.

I cut all the wires for the speakers from behind the radio. Then mounted the amps and ran the speaker wires from the back of the truck to the front. Using the stock speaker wires, instead of running new ones to every door

After I get the suspension done, audio is going to be my next upgrade. Toyota radio is better than the stock GM but still lacks. Just haven't found a headunit that looks good for double din

I kept the stock radio and upgraded everything else. I think it sounds the same as the aftermarket radio i installed

I cant navigate for shit and my phone gps is just as bad lol so I want to put a nav system in. Just dont like how the head units sit recessed in the dash. Been debating about getting a facotry nav from a new model but then it would drive me crazy that its black and the rest of the trim is silver
