So next time I'm at work and my coworker steals my mouse can stab him in the face? Thats MY fucking mouse!

I'm pro firearm as much as the next guy but over reacting to something petty is way non firearm owns think gun people are a bunch of trigger happy nut jobs.

Maybe I am just easy going or something because I know a few guys here I have done the same thing to. Hell I've made Patrick steal a trader Joe's shopping cart without knowing until he got home Or put a friend's truck on car dollies and moved it down the street.

Anyways on another note some of you guys have asked about another large meet at the park like last year. Tomorrow I'll head to the parks office and see what weekends are open in the same large spot as last time.

Nah nah not saying I'm going to shoot a person for that. I was just saying it made me realize that I'm without protection If something worse arises

Just don't have it the same weekend as the camping trip in January, otherwise I will be present. Might try and drop by then as a goal.

It won't. I'll try to plan it for February so everyone has about 4 weeks notice.

Later I looked more into what was in my truck once I got a break at work. missing my hats, pair of work boots, a sweater, and my small carry in bag tools. Like $600 worth of shit. FML.

at least all my tools weren't in my truck. The ONE time I leave my truck unlocked too... just my luck

I've seen him doing his Country music thing. Wasn't bad. He even did a couple Staind songs during his set.

You’ve made strong statement, shit, practically a declaration ! ! A lot of people may take it the wrong way, and someone here, it seems, already has. Some may even think you, me love violence—as if we’re all some sort of bloodthirsty assholes trying to mimic what we’ve seen in the movies or did when in the military. I hope with you that’s not the case. I’m sure you enjoy the same peace as everyone else. But the fact remains is there are shit heads out there and the difference between you, me and everyone else is that we understand violence exists. We may not be the instigators, but it exists.

There are bad people out there who wish to do us harm. It could be some shit head testing the waters by messing with your truck to see if it alarms or much, much worse than that. They exist, they often strike first, catch you off-guard and victimize you.

That’s the point when it becomes necessary to have a calm approach to violence—to be comfortable with it. It’s about knowing what these people want to do to you and being ready to inflict the same pain upon them. It’s about being calm in the midst of chaos. It’s about . . . training ! !

Do what you feel you have to do to protect your effects, persons and yourself ! PERIOD ! ! ! How Ever, your actions do have consequences and that being said should that involve any type of weapon ( Deadly or No ) that severely injures or takes a life you will answer for it in a court of law.

Whatever weapon platform you choose to purchase is the 1st step. Learn to use it proper, become proficient with it, do yourself a favor and take courses on why, how, when to deploy your platform and recognize when to escalate or conversely de-escalate in any given incident as every incident is different.

I don’t know you, you might be a military service member, veteran, cop, or trained citizen, you’ve learned harshly by this recent example the need to stand your ground. In situation where the majority of citizens would simply call the cops, blow it off or just run away from the reality.

Once you have you platform of choice there are questions you must ask yourself. Will I stand my ground? Am I prepared to pull the trigger if I have to? Can I bury my fear and adrenaline and maintain my composure when the chaos surrounds me? If you can answer yes to these, then you’re comfortable with the reality that violence may be your only option.

Your platform of choice is merely the TOOL of convenience to quickly deploy deadly force and eliminate a threat. You Are The Weapon - Not What You're Holding and No, I’m Not saying we’re violent persons. But I’m certainly comfortable around violent people and I know exactly what to do when threatened . . . Will You Be ? ? ?
