A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.

Not to rain on your parade Juan, but even if you tie in you factory tweeter wires to your door speakers you will not be impressed with the sound quality of the new speakers. The new speakers are designed to work with a minimum watt of power. You said that they were 45 watts so without knowing the exact model I will assume their minimum range is 2-45 watts. They also have a max watt rating well assume 90 watts max (based on model #R165X3). With this information you will want to obtain an inline output converter like you suggested but make sure to get on that you can expand on ie, rear speakers and sub-woofer when it's time. They normally run around 150 for the lower end and go into the 1000's with integrated signal processing and time shift allotment. Then you will need an amplifier. I would suggest a five channel amplifier to allow for the suggested upgrades. Look for one that matches you speakers watts, example 45 min - 90 max. This will make sure that you do not have and "clipping" issues that. Where you overpower the voice coils and overextend them past their operating range. Also look for the Ohms to match the speakers. Referencing the model #R165X3, they are a 4 ohm setup, so you would want to look for an amp that operates in 4 ohm standard. Side note: you can alter a 4 ohm speaker to run in 2 ohm if necessary. You should be able to find a good one for around 350. If you only want to run door speakers (front and back) another 150 can get you that too. I hope something I said here will help with your install.
