    Not sure if you guys can hear that or not. I drained the fluid and it was clean. Found 3 little tiny slivers that looked pretty typical. It knocks like an SOB while touching the throttle and completely goes away when I let off. I downshifted and rapped it up to 4K and the knock doesn't come back.

    Wheel bearings appear fine, driveshaft seems fine. I drove it home yesterday in front wheel drive with zero noise...

    I've just started my 200 mile drive home and it sounds like a machine gun the entire time...

    I am sorry i read that wrong. Does the drive shaft have dings in it??



    Might be carrier bearing.


    I beat the shit out of my drive shaft and had pretty bad vibes from 50 to 65. It went away around 70.

    Nope. Never touched the driveshaft. I was on pavement. I don't think it's the carrier bearing. I'm pretty sure it's coming from inside the axle housing somewhere.
