Notre Dame plays Clemson next year. Hopefully The Irish will have somewhat of a defense by then. LSU will probably kill them on Dec 30th. I like what Brian Kelly said. He said "We can't fool ourselves thinking we are better than we are, let's play LSU and see what we got".

My wife is the buckeye fan. If college football is all about recruiting ohio state is going to dominate for a while. Plus they have a super soft schedule next year so look for them to run the table, especially since they will have 2 or maybe even 3 heisman candidates on the team. Cardale jones is like a jamarcus russell (if that is what his name was LSU QB) Alabama will have their hands full with him and jalin Marshall and ezekiel jones. I will be interestesd to see how buckeys do against Amari cooper.

 

It is all about recruiting. Which is why teams in the southeast and Texas are always good. The majority of your top high school talent is from georgia, Florida, and Texas.

 

if FSU played in the SEC west, they wouldn't be undefeated either. Yall won your first championship of the century a year ago and suddenly think you are on Bama's level...that's sad.

You forgot about Ohio, Illinois and Pennsylvania as top football states.

 

i dunno..Ohio St > FSU, Mich St > or = Clemson, Wisc = GT

and i'd take nebraska over anyone else in the ACC.

 

Out of ESPN's top 100, 50 are from TX, GA, or FL.

Not disputing that. I'd like to see some data on how well the Top 100 recruits do after 4 years... Do the three and four star recruits end up out playing them after four years? Hopefully that make sense

 

FSU and GT are both better than OSU. Heck, Virginia Tech is better than OSU.

Cool. I'm not saying they're a deep conference, because they aren't. The B1G is closer in terms of competition from top to bottom. The ACC has better teams toward the top than B1G does.
