I just put a set of 16" black tkos on my 08 dc, i got them from discountiredirect and i think the weights they stick to the wheel for balancing are slightly rubbing the caliper on the front passenger side, there is a consistent noise with each roll of the tire. The weights are still there, didnt get knocked off. Any solutions to this? Grind the caliper? Or can the tires be balanced with weights on the edge of the rim toward the inside of the truck?

Other than that, the tko wheels look awesome with hankook dynapro atm tires!

I've got a set as well. The nice thing about them is they are flat black, and therefore don't show they are dirty too badly. I like them a lot and you can't beat them for the price.

Are you sure it isn't a bad bearing? The weights are pretty thin and shouldn't be rubbing anything. Do they show scoring on them? Personally I think you may have a different problem...

Its the weights, i checked this morning by putting a piece of masking tape over them and taking a ride around the block. They barely touch but it is just enough to make a sound. Thanks for your quick reply, I appreciate it!

1" rear drop. Currently sits 34.5" in the front and 35.0" in the rear.
Thank you so much for posting that setup. I have been looking for that combo everywhere because that is the wheel/tire combo that I want for my 5 lug with 16's.

I will be this winter. 16x8.5, -6mm offset with alternate caps, wrapped in 265/70-16 Hankook I-Pike RW11. I was going to stretch and run a 245, but after a bunch of deliberation (and Hankook's documentation saying run no wider than 8" wheels on that tire) to go with the stock tire size.

It should be fun that my winter wheels are wider and stick out further than my summer wheels. It's also ironic that I have winter tires on a 4wd pickup, but considering how sketchy my BFGs can be with the Off-Road's teeth bashing brakes, it will be a welcome change.

I am looking to get these with a 285/70/17 Duratrac, and wanted to see if anyone else ran this specifically.

Was the backspacing ok? Was there major trimming at all?

Just waiting on my tax return and can finish up my lift, tires, and wheels :)

added these to my sport DCLB... kept the tires that came factory.

total out the door from discount/ america's tire was $559, with a $75 rebate (on line). They swapped out the caps for the "chaos" caps for free, the tko ones arent the greatest.

Very happy with how they look and ride.

Got a set of 16" TKOs installed on mine today. Had them mounted with the factory tires. Only had 10,000 miles on them so couldn't justify new tires. Discount had to order the optional center caps as they didn't have any in stock. They provided them at no additional cost. IMO the saucer caps don't look to shabby but I like the other ones better. Will be installing those later this week when they arrive.

I think these are the wheels I am going to go with. My offroad ones are SO flaked. when I replace them, I'm gonna go with these.
