    There was just too much going on with it. Swapping out the filters on a stock airbox is so much easier and cheaper. Also their are minimal if any performance gains with a cai alone.

    In a nutshell, I'm subscribing to the KISS theory - Keep It Simple Stupid. The less shit there is to break the better off you are. With the stock airbox and a simple flex hose to the snorkel I've got what I need.
    I also modified the safari snorkel to have a straight outlet towards the engine compartment vs. the double 90 degree flow that it has in it's original configuration. :drevil:
