    I think that's what I'm going to go with when I go higher. What do you have for lift in the rear? Also, how much lift did you get off the 887s?

    Yes 2in aal. I'm sitting at a out 3.75in - 3.5in of lift up front here's my hub to fender measurments

    24" up front both sides
    24.5 in the rear both sides

    Wheres the pic of your dual battery setup. No build thread?

    Did you folks not see the mod I did?you free up the whole section where the old air box was. Design of the Safari is to bring the plumbing on the outside of the truck to the stock air intake hole. Vs. the Air Flow, goes in close as they can, then runs the plumbing in the fender well to reach the stock air intake hole. What i did was to take the stock air intake to the Air Flow ->

    3.5 inches?? Wow thats a bit more than I wanted. What kind of mileage do you get with 285's? I commute and don't want to destroy my mileage.. All my friends have 285's with tons of armor

    5100s as well not sure what brand aal it was installed when i bought the truck along with a spacer lift up front.

    Also,have to take in mind the springs will settle so once they do you will be close to 3in...I get about 16mpg I've never got.good mileage even with stock tires.

    Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly but I thought the rear 5100s will only accept a 0-1" lift. Anyway, thanks for the info and help. Will post pics whenever I get to adding a higher lift to mine

    There are many different versions/lengths of 5100's, 5100 is just a series. I have 5125 which is a different series of shock from bilstein

    I believe 2in is max maybe if you offroad alot it would be better to get 5150s or higher
