What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yep. I just kept looking at all the extra mess and wasn't having it. you have to either cut that mount for the antennae a litle or really finagle the piping in there. Once I flipped the stock intake a little. It all picked and made sense to at that point.

 

ashiet used the stock location for plumbing.

 

Been getting about 10-13 mpg in the local area. Drove to NC from VA and back. Got 20 mpg on way back. Guess it needed to get out of the city.

 

I'm still only getting 10mpg. HWY and CITY.....

Exactly. Hadn't seen anyone do it the way I did and understandably why too. Most people are scared to cut anything on the truck. Let alone 2 parts of it at the same time. Putting 4.25" holes in a truck makes the best of us a little weak in the knees

 

And I drive mostly city and Maybe 30 miles one way from my house

Mines highway and about 18 miles but up and down hills. So maybe I'll be good then

Northstar 27F - both. Northstar was started by an Odyssey split.
I am running it with the IBS Battery Management System and mounted the monitor/control on the inside of console lid.

 

Nice! I want to the same thing but with a blue sea controller and monitor.

Nice. I have read good things on the blue sea. cbi Fab built the battery box and it is solid.
This week will be adding an sPOD relay box and switch panel. I have a 3 switch panel now but am adding rock lights and Viar and need help .

Have you checked out skygears relay boxes? I'm also running a GB on a switch holder if you have an auto.

 

I have lurked in and out of the thread. The sPOD is delivered with the switch panel. I am looking to run the compressor gauge in the same panel like they build for the Jeep model. We are working with them to come up with a Tacoma Panel.
Nathan is a great guy. No just tell him you want the same box as Chris from Idaho. The box is bombproof and a perfect fit.
I installed hood struts after the box :FUCK: and it took me a full day to remove and notch it out so I could mount the lower strut mount.
I can't say enough about cbi, imo there are few that can compete with their fab.

 

All my gear is compatible with any switch panel. I can make a plug and play harness for it.
