TBH I couldnt care less what hes doing with his stack of money. Im having just as much fun with my friends at our local resort shotgunning beers at 9am, throwing down all over the local ski hill in the fresh snow we got, then playing beer pong till 12am the next day.

Personally I'm not a fan of glocks but if I was too buy one it would be the 36 because .45 acp but you could just do it right straight out the gate and buy a 1911.
As for the shotgun what are your needs/plan? I recommend hunting shotguns over tactical. Benelli nova is a great one for pretty cheap and If you wanna be the cool kid on the block get the beretta a400(not a pump though)

 

Personally im going 9mm with my xdm when i get it. They do offer .45acp though but for my needs i feel 9 will so the job for ccw.

 

With the xd's and all the sales gun shops have the 45 is normally within a fraction of the 9 that would be the only reason for me to pick the 45 over 9 in an xd.

Check out the cz 75 sp-01. It's supposed to be pretty awesome for the money. Not a good ccw though if that's what you want.

Also in normal states you can buy a shotgun at 18 is it not like that where you are?

I've been looking at STI for my next 1911. May just get another Springfield though. I miss mine I'd really like a Wilson but doubt I'll ever find $3,000 to drop on a pistol.

 

Head to the main office and then try to not convince yourself lol. The ones I like are 1800-2500 bucks. One day when I'm rich and famous il buy a few of them

Whatever you get buy a gun that fits your hands ergonomically. Go to ranges and rent guns and try them out.

tis true. i tried a few before i settled on the xdm

 

keep your finger out of the trigger guard till ready to shoot and you don’t really need one. That goes for any gun.
