    Yes and no. The noise started before we ever left the pavement. I kind of dismissed it as snow rubbing somewhere or something since I had a bunch of snow packed in the front end and the noise was still pretty quiet then. It "went away" during the wheeling but it was just because we were going slow. When I got back on the pavement and got up to speed it was very noticable!

    Konsta is 95% sure I have a chipped tooth on the ring gear. Not really sure what caused it though I'm sure the crawling didn't help it. Neither did that 200 mile drive home listening to an air hammer... but if it did chip a tooth it's not fixable so I can't really make it worse per se.
