if anything driving around with a random wheel in my bed would annoy me more than the blinking on my dash.

my last ride I took the gauge faces out, put a piece of electrical tape over the cutout opening of the (!) where the light would shine through the gauge face.
Worked great, and can easily can be undone.

Here is a similar mod that makes just as much sense:

I was tired of always seeing my gas gauge on "E" when my tank got low so I took the sending unit out of the tank, put it in a jerry can filled with gas and mounted it in the bed of my truck. Now the needle is always on the "F". It's a lot cheaper than filling up the whole tank too. The extra added bonus here is that when I do eventually run out of gas, I have a couple of gallons in the jerry can.

It's behind the seat. No worries at all. Out of sight, next to the jack.

That takes longer than 10 min.

The tube provides the pressure, against the sensors.

Again, takes longer than 10 min...

Again, takes longer than 10 min...

    $6 and 10 min... can't go wrong

Again, takes longer than 10 min...

You like to entertain yourself, don't ya? :jerkoff:

Simply ignoring the light as LUSETACO stated doesn't require any time, money or wasted cargo space lugging some stupid usless tire around.

I did the tpms mod on my Titan. I used pvc though and made it look like a pipe bomb. I left in on top off my spare tire when I sold the truck. I would love to see the look on the next owners face when he finds it.

Whatever works for you, but I don't see the logic in discrediting obvious better solutions because it takes longer than 10 minutes.
Your first step is to go to harbor freight which even if you live next to will take longer than 10 min finding the random wheel, pay for it and return home.
And all the legitimate solutions are free. Could even sell them and make $
Even if you do go by that logic, taking your guage faces out shouldn't take anyone longer than that 10 minute deadline.

I dunno... to me, the logical thing, wasn't to dismantle my 1 week old truck with 200 mi. on it... I took the conservative route... less risk. No room to break or damage components, or introduce rattle/creaks to a fresh vehicle.

Ladies. Ladies. You're ruining a perfectly good thread fighting over shit nobody cares about. If you have removed your TPMS and the light bothers you you now have options. Use whichever works before for you.

    Moving on...

Lol ladies ladies... Give me a break. There's no fight in here bud, he posted a solution to a problem, and some people posted other solutions. We're here to post things to help people, so someone wondering how to fix an issue on their rig has more solutions by people that may know more about fixing cars.

Yes, moving on. Fine tuned my flashlight mount today. I find myself using this more than the map lights.

Also found this little mount. What to do with it yet I don't know but it will be used. :D
